Only fitting that I stole the title shot for this from @ericvancewalton who is the force behind #memoirmonday. I did edit it for this week's prompt which is What are some of your all-time favorite restaurants? You can read about it and enter here https://hive.blog/memoirmonday/@ericvancewalton/memoir-monday-week-11-520-526
For me, that would be like asking me my favourite band or beer. Here is one of them.

Revival House
This is Revival House in our little town. Definitely among my favourites for quite a few reasons. One of them is the historic nature of the building.
Another one is the wonderful gardens meticulously tended to by the wizard on the terrace. Spring has only barely sprung and the garden is understated compared to how it looks in full summer glory.

Mother's Day Brunch
The occasion for visiting on this day was the sold out Mother's Day brunch buffet. Mother's Day is probably the busiest day of the year for many restaurants and this place is no exception.
It was fun to help promote this event as part of the marketing team, especially when I went to visit and it was a full house. The whole cathedral dining room was full of families celebrating great food and mom.
the bar was transformed into the brunch buffet which boasted everything from baked goods, fresh salads, eggs benedict, belgian waffles and fried chicken. Makes me hungry for a midnight snack just thinking about all the treats.
the guy in the middle doesn't seem to pleased at the social media guy snapping pics but the rest of the room is definitely enjoying the special meal.

So Much More
Besides the wonderful gardens, building, food and community who gather here, there are so many highlights. Too many to get into in a single post but even the chandelier has a story. Custom made by a carefully selected artisan and meant to be the centerpiece of a wonderful and historic venue. The original organ pipes still take up the back wall like decades before while the modern sound baffles blend in nicely with the classic brick.
Night time is the right time at this place with upscale dinner as a mainstay. Tourists and locals alike enjoy fine evening dinner here depending upon the season. Perfect for a date night, day trip, or even a fancy meal before one of the plays at the Shakespeare Festival in the summer.
Some nights, it turns into a dance club with the owner and his tight circuit of local DJs on the 1s and 2s.

Other nights, it becomes an elegant wedding venue as shown here by a picture by local photographer @lauraamendolaphotography.
Still others are private but inclusive vinyl nights where the cool kids gather and share their record collections over a few beers.
Some of a few reasons Revival House is one of my faves
