Hi Friends!
Going back to my trip to Norway...
The next day after amazing hike in Jotunheimen, which I showed You in my previous post
( https://peakd.com/photography/@photovisions/norway24-6-near-the-summit-what-a-view )
we hit the long roadtrip to the far north of Norway. The plan was to make this roadtrip in 3 days and then spend another 2 days in Rago National Park.
First stop on the road was a small touristic city called Lom with beautiful and old wooden church called stavkirke (Lom Stave Church).
The church was built around year 1170 originally located 60km West from Otta.
If You wish to know all the history about the place, check the Wiki: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lom_Stave_Church
Building is standing among the graveyard and is well seen from a distance. Beautiful architecture and the mood of nordic, medieval times - place is really something I can recommend to visit during the travel through Norway.
Interesting fact is that very similar church can be seen in Poland, in mountain village Karpacz. It was moved in 1842 from Norwegian town Vang.
Hope You like the shots and the place - I will post another views from our roadtrip soon :).
Take care!
