Café Lá Gió - Chill and Farming

in #review7 days ago

If you’re looking for a café to “escape” the crowded city streets, Café Lá Gió – a newly opened spot in Sóc Sơn – is the perfect choice. Open for just 2 weeks, the café attracts visitors with its super spacious area and rustic, nature-friendly style. Let’s explore it together!🫶🏻🥰

📍 The café is located under Đường 18 Bridge, Sóc Sơn, Hà Nội. The entrance is a bit hidden, so I had to slow down to find the turn, but as soon as I arrived, it felt like stepping into a “secret garden.”

From a distance, the warm yellow lights shine through the green garden. The open space is spacious and completely separated from the noisy outside world – a big plus for those who love peace and quiet.

✨ Super spacious area: Since the café was built on farmland, it has a great advantage in terms of space. You won’t see the cramped seating or closely arranged tables that are common in city cafés.

The highlight is the small lake, with tables and chairs arranged around it – perfect for sipping coffee while enjoying the breeze over the water.
The reed bushes are kept intact, making a chill background for photo lovers.
The gravel pathways with warm yellow lights on both sides reminded me of resorts in Đà Lạt.
If you don’t like sitting outside, you can also choose to sit indoors with air conditioning.

☀️ Day vs Night vibes:

Daytime: Fresh, airy, and the sound of water flowing from the small lake gives a very relaxing feeling.

Nighttime: The yellow lights illuminate the entire area, creating a classic, cozy vibe – perfect for romantic dates or gathering with friends.

🍹 Drinks & Experience
The menu is not too diverse yet, mainly offering coffee, tea, and fresh juice. Last night I ordered:

1 Shan Tuyet hazelnut tea with popping boba

1 fresh orange juice

1 plate of sunflower seeds

The total was 80,000 VND, but there was a discount, so I paid only 65,000 VND. The orange juice was quite sour and nothing special, but the hazelnut tea was very fragrant and delicious, with a deep color similar to coffee.

💸 Drinks are priced from 35,000 – 40,000 VND, very reasonable for such a nice space.

👩‍🍳 Service & Facilities
Staff: Plenty of staff around the area, friendly and quick to assist, even though the space is large.

🛵 Parking: Huge parking area for both motorbikes and cars.

🔥 Grand opening promotion: There’s still a discount for the first 2 weeks after opening, so it’s a great time to visit.

📸 Photo spots: From the wooden deck by the lake, gravel paths, to cute little tables under the trees – every corner looks great in photos.

One thing I really love is that although the café is large, it’s designed with different spaces for various needs:

👩‍❤️‍👨 Want privacy? There are single tables and couples’ seating hidden behind bushes.

👯‍♀️ Want a lively vibe? Group tables are spacious enough for friends.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Visiting with family? The open space is safe for kids to run around.

✅ Café Lá Gió is definitely worth a visit if you want:
✔️ To enjoy a super spacious outdoor café
✔️ To chill with friends by the lake, surrounded by warm yellow lights
✔️ A quiet spot to relax or a fun place to gather

💯 Rating: 9/10
