Saludos amigos bienvenidos a mi blog 🌟

! [ENGLISH]
These past few days have been pretty busy, and I’ve been craving something tasty and different for a while now. I’ve always loved Chinese rice, and my kids love it too. My husband likes it, but not as much as we do. We’d been saying we’d eat Chinese rice soon at our usual spot—that’s where we like how they prepare it; it turns out delicious, which is why we keep going back. But as they say, you have to try new places.
This time we weren’t going to eat rice but hot dogs. However, God never fails anyone, and He often spoils us without us even realizing it. so we got a call from abroad and were told we were invited to have whatever dinner we wanted. We’d seen a promotion at a restaurant for three bowls of Chinese rice plus a soda for just $13—it seemed like a great deal, so to save our sponsor some money, we decided to eat there.
The atmosphere looked really cozy—there were no other people at the tables, just a man drinking beer by himself. We arrived and sat down next to him. The waitress told us that the portions in the bowls were very small and recommended three portions since there were five of us. Plus, the portion was affordable at $5.60, so we thought that sounded good and went with that plan, plus some soda.
When the portions arrived, we were surprised because they were very large. The flavor was excellent. We ordered the special fried rice with ham; my husband loved it. I liked it, but not as much as the place we always go to—for me, that will always be the best of all. Besides, since our budget allowed, we paid a little extra, took one portion home, and the next day it tasted even better than when we first had it.

I ate two plates of rice that night and was completely full and satisfied; our friend ate about three plates, my son two full plates, as did my husband, my daughter two and a half plates, and even with all that, there was a little rice left over that we also took home; there was so much that there were leftovers. While we were eating, all the tables were full; it seems we were a blessing to the place, or maybe they’re always full and we were lucky to get in, though I believed the former.
We had a special time as a family; we laughed a lot at the stories everyone was telling. Our neighbor was grateful for the dinner since he wasn’t going to have time to cook. He always invites us over for meals, too. We’re glad we brought him along, and yes, I think I’d go back there.
