Today, I revisited the Food Place food court, located at Pavilion Mall. The food court is located beside the Oriental Kopi Restaurant. It is time to try food from another stall.
This time, I ordered a pork belly slice superior soup noodles from the Go Noodle stall, which cost RM17.90 per bowl.
It features a comforting, clear broth, thin slices of tender pork belly, fresh greens (like bok choy), coriander, and chopped spring onions for fragrance. The noodles can be chosen between mi xian (rice noodles) or bee hoon (vermicelli)—I went with mi xian, which has a smooth, slightly chewy texture that pairs well with the light yet flavorful soup.
The "superior soup" is one of Go Noodle House’s signatures, cooked with slow-simmered pork bones and herbs, giving it a naturally sweet and umami-rich flavour. This style of noodle soup traces its roots to traditional Chinese home cooking, where clear broths were valued for being both nourishing and easy to digest.
