Today I have lunch at the Marcro restaurant, which is located at The Gardens Mall. It features a sleek, contemporary design with a cozy ambiance. The space combines booth seating and marble-top tables accented with teal chairs, warm lighting from modern pendant fixtures, and arch-lined walls that add depth and style. It’s a calm, stylish spot perfect for casual dining or small gatherings.

after looking at their lunch offer, I ordered their pork Milanese with salad that cost RM33.50 after including the service tax. The Pork Milanese is a crispy, golden-breaded pork cutlet served with a fresh salad of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, and a lemon wedge, paired with a savoury brown sauce. The set meal includes a scoop of chocolate ice cream and your choice of black coffee or iced lemon tea.

Pork Milanese comes from the Italian classic "Cotoletta alla Milanese," a dish that began in Milan using veal. Over time, pork became a popular substitute for its affordability and flavor. The meat is tenderized, breaded, and fried—similar to schnitzel—offering a crunchy texture with juice.
