Nunca está de más comerse un helado de chocolate, sobre todo si es al lado de la persona que aman. Les cuento mi experiencia de una tarde cualquiera pero llena de amor.

It never hurts to enjoy some chocolate ice cream, especially when you're with the person you love. Let me tell you about my experience on a typical afternoon filled with love.
Mi esposo y yo estábamos en casa una tarde noche en la que hacía muchísimo calor, por lo menos así la sentía yo. De repente se fue la electricidad y fue la cereza del pastel. Al cabo de unos minutos se intensificó el calor y decidimos salir a pasear, solo a caminar, ese era el propósito hasta que vimos una venta de helados.
Recuerdo que hace mucho tiempo cuando vivía con mis padres vendíamos estos helados, son marca "Carabobo", además de ser accesibles económicamente también son muy sabrosos. En aquel entonces dejamos de vender helados porque no conseguimos más proveedores de helados de esta marca en la ciudad y los que estaban disponibles no eran tan sabrosos, además las personas ya estaban acostumbrados a estos, así que desistimos en la venta.
Caminando con mi esposo por un centro comercial de la ciudad vi el letrero de la venta de helados y me sorprendió que tuvieran esta marca, así que nos detuvimos para comprar mi favorito. El helado de chocolate con mantecado y maní 😋 Mi esposo no los había probado y decidió elegir el mismo helado que yo y le encantó.
My husband and I were at home one evening when it was extremely hot, at least that's how I felt. Suddenly, the power went out, which was the icing on the cake. After a few minutes, the heat intensified, and we decided to go out for a walk, just to walk, that was the plan until we saw an ice cream stand.
I remember that a long time ago, when I lived with my parents, we used to sell this ice cream. It's called "Carabobo," and besides being affordable, it's also very tasty. Back then, we stopped selling ice cream because we couldn't find any more suppliers of this brand in the city, and the ones that were available weren't as tasty. Plus, people were already used to this brand, so we gave up selling it.
Walking with my husband through a shopping mall in the city, I saw a sign advertising ice cream and was surprised to see this brand, so we stopped to buy my favorite flavor: chocolate ice cream with peanut butter 😋 My husband had never tried it before and decided to choose the same flavor as me, and he loved it.
Cuando probé el helado sentí en mi paladar una sensación tan pero tan agradable que tan solo recordarla se me hace agua la boca, como decimos coloquialmente. Además de que necesitaba comer o tomar algo frío por el calor que tenía, dicho sabor me traslado a aquellos años en los que mi mamá y yo salíamos a comprar los helados para venderlos, una vez que llegábamos a casa, mi mamá se comía exactamente ese helado que en esa tarde yo me comí. Son recuerdos bonitos porque las tantas experiencias que hemos vivido juntas mi mamá y yo para tener un ingreso extra en la casa nos han unido muchísimo. No solo son experiencias son momentos llenos de amor que se quedan tatuados en mi corazón.
En esta ocasión me tocó recordar momentos muy bonitos junto a mi esposo y a la vez propiciamos una nueva experiencia que nos acompañará como matrimonio. Tenemos solo tres meses de casados y nos estamos esforzando por coleccionar los mejores momentos del día a día y nada más apropiado para hacerlo que con un delicioso helado de chocolate.
When I tasted the ice cream, I felt such a pleasant sensation on my palate that just remembering it makes my mouth water, as we say colloquially. In addition to needing to eat or drink something cold because of the heat, that flavor took me back to those years when my mom and I would go out to buy ice cream to sell. Once we got home, my mom would eat the exact same ice cream that I had eaten that afternoon. These are beautiful memories because the many experiences my mom and I have had together to earn extra income for the household have brought us very close together. They are not just experiences, they are moments filled with love that remain etched in my heart.
On this occasion, I was reminded of very beautiful moments with my husband, and at the same time, we created a new experience that will accompany us as a married couple. We have only been married for three months and we are striving to collect the best moments of everyday life, and what better way to do so than with a delicious chocolate ice cream.
La vida es una suma de momentos buenos y malos, sin embargo, está en nuestras manos tejer la vida con aquellos momentos pequeños pero tan significativos que te hacen revivir emociones y sentimientos muy profundos, mejor aún cuando se involucra un sabor tan fuerte y exquisito como el chocolate porque al volver a probarlo te traerán de nuevo los recuerdos más dulces que has vivido.
Life is a sum of good and bad moments, but it is up to us to weave together those small yet meaningful moments that bring back deep emotions and feelings, especially when they involve a flavor as strong and exquisite as chocolate, because tasting it again will bring back the sweetest memories you have ever experienced.
