To share with you, today I had the opportunity to prepare this delicious carrot cake weighing one and a half kilos in total. A delight! The richest truth.
INGREDIENTES
- 21O GR DE HARINA DE TRIGO
- 240 GR DE AZUCAR
- 200 GR DE NUECES ( DIVIDAS EN 125 PARA LA TORTA Y 75 PARA DECORAR)
- 1 Y 1/4 TSP CANELA
- 3/8 DE SAL
- 3/4 DE TSP DE POLVO DE HORENAR
- 3/4 CUCHARADITA DE BICARBONATO DE SODIO
- 3 HUEVOS
- 225 DE ACEITE VEGETAL
- 188 GR DE ZANAHORIA RALLADA FINAMENTE
FROSTIE
- 85 GR DE MANQTEQUILLA
- 135 DE QUESO CREMA
- 465 DE AZUCAR GLASS
INGREDIENTS
21O GR OF WHEAT FLOUR
240 GR OF SUGAR
200 GR OF walnuts (DIVIDED INTO 125 FOR THE CAKE AND 75 FOR DECORATION)
1 AND 1/4 TSP CINNAMON
3/8 SALT
3/4 TSP BAKING POWDER
3/4 TEASPOON OF BAKING SODIA
3 EGGS
225 VEGETABLE OIL
188 GR OF FINELY GRATED CARROTFROSTIE
85 GR OF BUTTER
135 CREAM CHEESE
465 GLASS SUGAR
PREPARACION
To start with the mise en place we take the Carrots and proceed to peel them and grate them on the finer side.
To continue with our initial preparation, we continue with the walnuts and cut them into small pieces, remembering that 125g will be included in the mixture, and the other 75g for decoration. When it is ready, we proceed with the flour, sifting it with the rest of the dry ingredients.(cinnamon, baking soda, salt...)
In our mixer we add the eggs, together with the sugar and begin to beat them, until they are well incorporated.
Then, lower the speed of the mixer, add the oil, increase the speed again and continue beating. And add the Carrot, and continue beating at low speed.
Continue beating, gradually adding the dry ingredients to this dough.
In a mold, grease with butter and cut a piece of wax paper. Divide the mixture from our mixer into two 8-inch cake pans. Then add one of the parts to the mold and put it in the oven at 176 centigrade, or 35o Fahrenheit for 25 minutes.
At the end, we let the parts rest, until they cool completely, while letting them cool. We start with the Frostie.Add the butter to the mixer until it turns completely white.
Add the powdered sugar to the butter and continue beating. When finished, we add the cream cheese. We continue beating until we have a smooth and uniform cream.
My favorite part, and the most creative, the decoration. One of the parts is placed on a base, spreading part of the cream, then the other part of our cake is placed over .
After both parts are joined, cover the entire cake with the rest of the frosting.
Cover the cake with the remaining nuts and we have finished our Carrot Cake!
This creation is a delight, a moist, soft cake, the walnut pieces and the smell of cinnamon are the ideal touch.
