I don't want to share much about the pain-in-the-ass moth problem at my flat, except to say that with hours notice I have to move everything out of the bedrooms and closets so that someone can come in and treat the infestation. YUCKY!!
What I want to share with you is my favorite thing about Mondays!!
I've mentioned before The Palace, my local pub, which is a five-minute walk from the at present mothy flat, has got to be one of the best pubs in Leeds, but I have a long way to go to know if that's true.🍺
From Monday through Fridays, between 12pm and 6pm, The Palace offer a hot meal deal with a half-dozen options. This one, the Gammon Steak with grilled pineapple, a perfectly fried "over medium" hen's egg, with English peas and a salad, is included. For an additional 1 GBP they will throw in a drink. This includes a Guinness or even a Gin & Tonic!
Happy me — this gorgeous lunch with a G & T...all for 9.50!!
I gotta get back to packing so that maybe I'll be back to living alone in the flat again until @bitterirony pays me another visit. Hehehe, @thekittygirl suggested those moths should pay be rent! 😆
