I don't know how long it's been since I've had a hamburger, I really don't remember, but it's been quite a while since I've treated myself. Luckily, yesterday I managed to buy the ingredients and make a hamburger at home. I think they were the best hamburgers I've ever made. Everything turned out perfectly and we enjoyed them so much, especially because we had fries, and hamburgers with fries is the best combination.

I have a little problem when I make hamburgers: I get really confused about the steps, so I always end up making a mess and getting stressed out. But it was totally worth it because they turned out really good. I started by chopping the vegetables—we like them with tomato, lettuce, and red onion—then I seasoned the meat and flattened it into a hamburger patty shape. I cooked it in a pan with a little sunflower oil.

Let it cook, and while I started organizing all the filling so I could take out the burgers and assemble them, I also tried a different way of heating the buns. I usually steam them, but that technique always gave me problems and damaged the pasta strainers I used to hold the buns, so I decided to put a little butter on the buns and heat them directly in a pan without leaving them too long, since we didn't want the buns to get too hard or crispy. Then I started filling the burgers with pink sauce, mustard, cheese, ham, the meat, and vegetables. I didn't take pictures of that part of the assembly because the kitchen was too chaotic and it was too difficult.

Oh, and while all that was happening I was also frying French fries in a lot of oil, which I also seasoned a little with salt and black pepper, they turned out super crispy and spectacular.

My favorite burgers are from Burger King and these definitely turned out very similar to those burgers, I just forgot the pickle.
