Saludos, estimados amigos. Hoy quiero compartirles un día, o mejor dicho, una noche de mucha diversión en el centro comercial Jumbo de Barrancabermeja. Este es un lugar que mi esposa y yo frecuentamos desde hace mucho tiempo. Antes veníamos con mis sobrinos cuando ellos estaban aquí en Colombia, pero ahora le tocó el turno a nuestra princesa Anthonella; es momento de que ella también explore la diversión.
Greetings, dear friends. Today I want to share with you a day, or rather, a very fun night at the Jumbo shopping center in Barrancabermeja. This is a place my wife and I have been frequenting for a long time. We used to come with my nephews when they were here in Colombia, but now it was our princess Anthonella's turn; it's time for her to experience the fun too.
Hace algún tiempo, cuando mi bebé era más pequeña, solo pasamos por aquí para tomarnos unas fotos con ella. La verdad es que prácticamente entramos y salimos corriendo porque el ruido dentro del área de juegos, especialmente en la zona de atracciones, era ensordecedor para ella y terminó asustándose. Pero, como les comentaba, en aquella ocasión solo queríamos tomar una fotografía. Ahora mi bebé ya tiene ocho meses y volvimos al área de atracciones, y esta vez se lo disfrutó muchísimo.
Some time ago, when my baby was younger, we just stopped by to take some pictures with her. The truth is, we practically ran in and out because the noise inside the play area, especially on the rides, was deafening for her, and she ended up getting scared. But, as I mentioned, we only wanted to take a picture that time. Now my baby is eight months old, and we went back to the rides, and this time she enjoyed it immensely.
Pensábamos que iba a llorar al montarse en las atracciones, pero les cuento que en ningún momento ocurrió eso. Al contrario, volteaba de un lado a otro explorando todo lo que veía a su alrededor y, cuando la subíamos a una atracción, se reía y la disfrutaba sin ningún problema. Me siento muy feliz de ver cómo crece mi hija; el tiempo pasa extremadamente rápido. Ahora sí entiendo cuando muchas personas me dicen: "Disfrútala mucho, porque los hijos crecen muy rápido".
We thought she was going to cry when we went on the rides, but I'm happy to say that never happened. On the contrary, she looked around, exploring everything she saw, and when we took her on a ride, she laughed and enjoyed it without any problem. I feel so happy to see my daughter growing up; time flies by so fast. Now I understand when so many people tell me, "Enjoy her while you can, because children grow up so quickly."
Después de jugar, dimos un paseo por los alrededores y, como de costumbre, hicimos una pequeña pausa en un área donde generalmente hay sillas o pequeños muebles mecedores. Sin embargo, esta vez las sillas eran inflables y tenían temática de fútbol por el Mundial. También había una zona para cargar teléfonos, así que resultó ser un espacio muy cómodo para descansar un rato.
After playing, we took a walk around the area and, as usual, took a short break in a spot that's usually filled with chairs or small rocking chairs. However, this time the chairs were inflatable and had a soccer theme because of the World Cup. There was also a phone charging station, so it turned out to be a very comfortable place to relax for a while.
Por último, antes de regresar a casa, pasamos por el área de comidas, donde venden unas pizzas realmente deliciosas. Lástima que mi bebé todavía no pueda disfrutar de una pizza. Además, los dueños del centro comercial instalaron una exhibición de camisetas firmadas por jugadores profesionales, ya que han tenido la oportunidad de viajar y conocer a muchos de ellos.
Aproveché para tomarme una foto junto a la camiseta de Lionel Messi, jugador de la selección argentina. Las camisetas están muy bien cuidadas y, aun así, en algunas de ellas se puede apreciar en la tela el paso de los años.
Finally, before heading home, we stopped by the food court, where they sell some truly delicious pizzas. It's a shame my baby can't enjoy pizza yet. The mall owners also set up a display of jerseys signed by professional players, as they've had the opportunity to travel and meet many of them.
I took the opportunity to have my picture taken next to a Lionel Messi jersey, the player from the Argentinian national team. The jerseys are very well cared for, and yet, on some of them, you can still see the wear and tear of the years in the fabric.
