I want to thank you all for being here with me sharing my simple recipes, it's been a while since I shared a recipe with you, but I'm back with you here enjoying the day that is very rainy and cloudy, perfect for a nap, but first I'll show you how I have prepared my favorite recipe for sweet empanadas 😌🤤 my mouth is watering just thinking that one of the empanadas that I like the most is filled with shredded meat and sweets is my weakness eating a sweet empanada many people don't like it much but I love them a lot, there was some shredded or shredded meat left over from lunch as you prefer to call it or whatever it is called in your country and well here it occurred to me to make some empanadas like the ones my mom used to buy me. Don't miss the recipe and I hope you like this blog a lot, it seemed like a lot of fun to me after a while to prepare some empanadas quickly to eat and more with lunch food I feel it tastes better 🤭in my opinion of course.

- 200 ml de agua hervida
- 1 cucharadita de sal
- 90 gr de azúcar

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 90 g sugar

We start of course by washing our hands well and removing any bacteria that we have on them because we will use them to knead 😊 then here I took a deep bowl of those that we always use to knead or our favorite and we are going to add the flour, omit that little ball of dough that was there, if you have a little bit of preserved dough like I had it doesn't matter there we will join it together with the other dough and thus make more empanadas 🤭 then we are adding all the amount of flour with a little bit of salt and I was adding the water little by little.

The second step is to knead and add the sugar little by little, and let the dough rest for five minutes at room temperature. Then I took a disposable bag and cut a square because that's where we'll prepare the empanadas. With the oil we're going to spread the surface of the bag so that the dough doesn't stick to it.

It's time to put together the empanadas. To do this, I'll take a small ball of dough and spread it out with my fingers on the paper, at least a finger shorter. It should be thin. Then, we'll take our pot where we always fry food and add the amount of new oil you normally use. Let it heat for 10 minutes over low heat.

We confirm if the oil has already heated, and once hot I proceed to add the filling to the empanadas: meat, cheese, or any filling you want to add. I will close it by taking the bag from top to bottom and with a cup with a round mouth I make the shape of the empanada 😊.

We add our empanadas and let them cook on each side for about 6 minutes until they are golden brown. In the meantime, we are going to prepare a green sauce with the seasonings I made and a little mayonnaise to give the empanadas flavor. After this time, I am simply going to remove the empanadas and cook the others. In total, I made 10 empanadas.
