👩‍🍳INSTRUCTIONS:

Follow these steps for you to easily understand the sequence and learn faster.

Step 1: Prepare the Hotdogs

  1. Slice (Optional):
I like to make a few shallow diagonal cuts in the hotdogs, It helps them cook evenly and looks nice too.

  2. Cook:
In a frying pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Fry the hotdogs until they are cooked through, slightly browned, and the cuts have opened up. Remove and set aside on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Step 2: Prepare the Buns

  1. Open:
Slice the hotdog buns open, but do not cut all the way through (unless you are using soft, un-sliced rolls, then slice them open like a regular hotdog bun).

Don’t worry if your buns aren’t perfect also mine never are 😅

  1. Toast (Optional):
For a slightly crispy texture, you can lightly toast the inside of the buns on a clean part of the frying pan or a toaster oven for 1-2 minutes.

Step 3: Assemble the Sandwich
1. Base Layer:
I spread the mayo first, then pop in the hotdog. You can add ketchup or banana ketchup, whichever you like.
2. Hotdog:
Place one cooked hotdog inside the bun.
3. Vegetables:
Throw some shredded lettuce or cabbage on top — as much as you like!
4. Sauce Drizzle:
Drizzle ketchup liberally over the lettuce and hotdog.
5. Finishing Touch:
Sprinkle the top with a good amount of shredded cheese 🧀 .
6. Serve:
Serve immediately while the hotdog is still warm!

🌭TIPS:
• The Sarsa (Sauce):
To achieve the very smooth white sauce to addition to the ketchup), some vendors use a slightly thinned mixture of sweetened condensed milk and mayonnaise or a mixture of mayonnaise and a little sugar. This gives it a uniquely sweet and rich flavor profile that is distinct from regular mayo.

That’s it! I hope you guys loved my recipe instructions.✨
