"A Taste of Tradition: The Deliciously Tasty Mattar Pulao Recipe"

Assalam o Alaikum and hello to my #foodiesbeehive community.How are you friends I hope everyone is well and I am also well. Every region has its own traditional dishes which are prepared in different ways.
Today, the recipe that I am going to share with you is Mattar Pulau. It is called Mattar Pulau because it is a Pakistani recipe that uses peas along with rice.That is why this recipe is called Mattar Pulau.I have made this recipe in a native way. It includes commonly used ingredients. It took me more than an hour to make this recipe.

Following are the ingredients and their quantity to make this recipe.

//Ingredients//

Rice 1 kg.
Cooking oil 200 ml.
Onion 250 grams.
Tomato 250 grams.
Peas (boiled)400 grams.
Ginger(paste)30 grams.
Garlic(paste)30 grams.
Green chili 8/10 pieces.
Red chili powder 2 teaspoons.
Coriander powder 2 teaspoons.
Turmeric 1/4th teaspoon.
Salt 3 teaspoons.
Garam Masala (cumin) 2 teaspoons.
Biryani/Pulao Masala 2 teaspoons.

Following is the step-by-step method to prepare this Mattar Pulau recipe.

//Procedure//

Step1
First of all, to make this recipe, I put the pot on the stove and add cooking oil and brown the onions. As soon as the onions are browned, I add the chopped tomatoes and cook for some time so that the tomatoes and onions are cooked well.

Step2
After that I added ginger and garlic paste to it and for some time I cooked it further so that the garlic-ginger paste was mixed well then i added green chillies in it.

Step3
Along with that I soaked the rice in a separate pot in water for 15 minutes and also boiled the peas well for 15/20 minutes so that I could add during the preparation of masala.

Step4
At this stage, when the ginger and garlic paste was mixed well, I added boiled peas in it and cooked for more 5 minutes.

Step5
After that I also added red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt then cooked for another 8/10 minutes so that all the ingredients were mixed and cooked well.

Step6
When the masala is ready by roasting well, then added two liters of water to it along with the garam masala (Cummins)and biryani/pulao masala and closed it with a lid so that the water boils well.

Step7
At this stage, when the water has boiled well, put the rice in it and put a lid on it for 5 minutes so that the water is well absorbed in the rice.

Step8
At this final step, when the lid was lifted and the water was almost absorbed by the rice, the lid was closed for 10 minutes by covering it with a cloth so that the steam would further cook the rice and make it taste better.

After about 10 minutes Mattar Pulao recipe was ready when we lifted the lid from pot,there was a very delicious aroma which showed that our recipe is very tasty and delicious.

The color, aroma and taste of this Mattar Pulao (peas pulao) was very delicious.My most favorite dish is also rice and I am very fond of cooking this dish.

When I tasted the Mattar Pulao (peas pulao) it was delicious and I had it with mint chutney and curd which was even more delicious.
