Hey Hive food friends! How's everybody doing? Today, I'm off for a super-delicious trip through the world of Filipino tempura!
The tempura is considered the street food hero of the Philippines. It's enjoyed basically anywhere, from busy city streets to quiet squares in small towns. It fits just right into a quick snack or meal and does the job perfectly all the time.
Tempura to me is not just food; it's a great craving! Those crunchy, golden-brown pieces of goodness are just irresistible. And even when the sun was just awful hot today, I thought I better stick to my craving for tempura.
Off I go to my usual campsite where all the top tempura sellers go for tripping off. The aroma of fried food in the air was obviously irresistible, and it got the guts roaring. I had my regular order of a plate of tempura and a cold soft drink.As I waited, I snapped a few pictures to post for you guys – just capturing a moment!
When my esoteric journal about tempura reached the dining-room table, I was raring for it! The tempura was really cooked just right, crisp to the bite but very tender and juicy on the inside. The batter was very light and fine, while the veggies tasted fresh and delicious.

I emptied my whole order – not a single morsel left! I just couldn't leave a piece of tempura rotting on the plate; only the sauce was gone.
