This Sunday my daughter invited us over for lunch, which always makes me very happy. She bought a golden brown broaster chicken, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, which was really delicious, and served it with smooth, creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli florets cooked to perfection. I loved how everything went together so well and how she took such care with every detail. There's nothing nicer than sitting down at the table and feeling the love in the food.
I took care of dessert. I made a homemade cake that, modesty aside, always turns out delicious. Fluffy, with an aroma that fills the kitchen and the whole house.
It was a simple lunch, but full of love, laughter, and family. These are the moments you keep in your heart and are deeply grateful for.
Este domingo mi hija nos invitó a almorzar y eso siempre me hace muy feliz. Ella compró un pollo a la broaster doradito, crujiente por fuera y jugoso por dentro, que estaba realmente delicioso y lo acompañó con un puré de papa suavecito, bien cremoso, y unos arbolitos de brócoli en su punto perfecto. Me encantó ver cómo todo combinaba tan bien y cómo ella se esmeró en cada detalle. No hay nada más lindo que sentarse a la mesa y sentir el cariño en la comida.
Yo me encargué del postre. Hice una torta casera que, modestia aparte, siempre me queda deliciosa. Esponjosa, con un aroma que llena la cocina y toda la casa.
Fue un almuerzo sencillo, pero lleno de amor, risas y familia. Estos momentos son los que uno guarda en el corazón y agradece profundamente.
