Hello everyone
Early this morning, heavy rain pounded the rooftops and streets, making the world outside my window a blur of water and gray. By late morning, however, the skies began to clear just as I finished my work, revealing patches of blue and the promise of a brighter day. With the afternoon free, I decided it was the perfect time to revisit a charming flower cafe in Kathu, a place I hadn't set foot in for several months.
Excited for a peaceful moment with a cup of green tea, I drove to the cafe, anticipation building as I approached. As I parked and stepped out of the car, an elderly woman nearby caught my eye. She asked if I was there for the cafe, and I nodded, smiling.
To my surprise, she informed me that the cafe had been closed for months. Her words left me stunned, standing there with my plans unraveling before me. I had envisioned sipping tea amidst vibrant flowers, capturing the beauty with my camera. With a sigh, I realized I needed to change my plans.
Not wanting to waste the afternoon, I decided to head to another favorite spot, a Japanese-style cafe not too far away called "Kin cafe." It was a place I had visited many times, a comforting haven where I could still enjoy my green tea and find solace in its familiar ambiance.
As I drove to Kin cafe, I reflected on the unexpected turn of events. While the day hadn't gone as planned, it still held the promise of quiet moments and a cup of green tea to savor.
Kin Cafe is a minimalist Japanese-style cafe adorned in soothing white tones, creating an atmosphere of tranquility and simplicity. The walkway is lined with brown pillars that perfectly complement the overall aesthetic. Japanese lanterns enhance the Japanese ambiance, making the entrance itself a captivating spot that beckons visitors to snap numerous photos. This charming blend of elegance and cultural elements ensures that Kin Cafe is not only a delightful place to relax but also a picturesque destination in its own right.
As you open the door to Kin Cafe, you're greeted by a welcoming food and drink ordering counter. The menu features a delightful mix of Thai cuisine, and Japanese-style dishes, as well as an array of bakery items and beverages. After placing my drink order, I took the opportunity to snap numerous photos inside the cafe, captivated by its charming decor.
The cafe offers both air-conditioned indoor seating and an outdoor zone, catering to different preferences. I opted for a seat in the air-conditioned room, drawn to its appealing decoration. The furniture, in warm brown tones, contrasts beautifully with the pristine white walls, creating a clean and inviting ambiance that perfectly embodies minimalist elegance.
Soon, the staff brought me my favorite drink, a refreshing cup of green tea, along with a plate of basil fried rice topped with a perfectly cooked fried egg. The meal was delicious, with flavors that hit just the right notes, and it was pleasantly affordable. This delightful combination made my visit to Kin Cafe even more enjoyable, reaffirming its place as one of my favorite spots.
After enjoying my satisfying meal, it was time to pick up my son from school. With a contented heart and a full stomach, I left Kin Cafe, looking forward to the rest of the day and the joy of seeing my son.
