Hello everyone
After spending two nights resting in Nakhon Pathom, I hit the road early the next morning, heading toward Tak province. I arrived at my younger sister’s house around 5:40 PM, just in time to settle in before an exciting day ahead.
The next morning marked the grand opening of her café, and from the moment the sun rose, we were incredibly busy. Despite all the careful preparations, the first day was still filled with unexpected chaos—but that’s all part of the adventure, right? ☕🎉
My younger sister was beyond proud to see her café finally come to life. At the front, a sign proudly displayed the name "Tiew Ruea Rim Moei & Café."
As for the flowers blooming beneath the sign? That was my personal touch! 🌸 The evening I arrived, I planted them as a warm welcome for the café’s grand opening. Seeing them in full bloom on the first day made the moment even more special. 💛✨
We started preparing as early as 5 AM, making sure everything was set up in time for the grand opening. With so many last-minute tasks, we didn’t want to risk any delays!
The café officially opened its doors at 8:00 AM, running until 6:00 PM. By the time we reached opening hour, everything was finally ready to go—and the excitement was in the air! ☕✨*
Despite the morning rush, I couldn’t help but admire how beautifully decorated the café was. The front entrance was adorned with colorful handcrafted ornaments, adding a charming cultural touch to the space.
The wooden walkway leading to the café was lined with vibrant purple flowers, which I had planted the evening before. Seeing them in the morning light made me smile, knowing they were now part of this special place. 🌸✨
The decorations didn’t stop there! Hanging above the entrance were brightly woven ornaments, swaying gently in the breeze. Their intricate patterns and bold colors made the café feel even more warm and welcoming—a perfect mix of tradition and modern charm.
Stepping inside the café, I was greeted by a warm and cozy ambiance panoramic view of lush greenery outside. The seating areas were arranged thoughtfully, allowing visitors to enjoy the peaceful scenery while sipping on their drinks. Whether you prefer a quiet corner with a book or a window-side seat with a view, this place has something for everyone. 🌿🪟
One of my favorite things about this café is the combination of exposed brick walls, large glass windows, and wooden flooring created a perfect blend of modern and rustic charm. The natural light streaming in made the space feel bright and inviting—a perfect spot to sit back and relax. ☕✨
On the first day of the grand opening, many customers who had heard about the café from the Facebook page came by to show their support. Most of them were friends and acquaintances of my younger sister, making the day feel even more special. The café was bustling with energy, and we barely had time to catch our breath!
By the time we finally got a chance to rest, it was already late afternoon. And this? This was my very first drink of the day—only after the rush had settled down. ☕😆
The signature dish of this café is boat noodles—a dish that holds a special place in my heart. My younger sister and I used to sell boat noodles together years ago in Phuket, before we eventually stopped and she moved back to her hometown in Tak to pursue other work.
And now? We’re back at it again! 🍜✨ It felt nostalgic to see this dish being served once more, bringing back so many memories. The best part? The taste remains just as delicious as ever! 😋💛
After finishing my bowl of boat noodles and with no more customers around, I decided to explore the lower area of the café. During the rainy season, this spot is usually filled with water, as it sits along the path of the Moei River, which serves as a natural border between Thailand and Myanmar.
However, during the dry season, the water recedes, revealing an open space. My younger sister made the most of it by building small seating huts and a swing, creating a peaceful spot for customers who want to enjoy the natural surroundings. 🌿⛺✨
As I peaceful view,
I felt a deep sense of gratitude. Seeing my sister’s dream come to life, surrounded by nature and the warmth of family, made me appreciate the journey that led us here.
The gentle breeze, the sound of birds in the distance, and the golden light of the afternoon created the perfect ending to a long, fulfilling day. Sitting there, I thought about how much love and effort had gone into building this place—not just as a café, but as a gathering spot filled with memories waiting to be made.
Before heading back, I took one last look around, capturing the moment in my heart. Whether it's the comforting bowl of boat noodles, the beautiful café setting, or the peaceful riverside seating, this place is more than just a business—it’s a home. And I can't wait to come back again.
Thank you for your support
