Life is funny sometimes, yesterday a part for my new printer came in and I was able to get it going and I had all 3 printers working and was thinking about making a post about how I am all square but unfortunately my good printer the one you see in the picture above craped out yet again, I was not too surprised or shocked I figured this would be happening soon as the heat cartriges I had seem to crap out farily quickly and have a hard time maintating the right tmeperature even when they are operational.
I had a spare part lined up and so no biggie just gotta swap it out and I did but unfortunately it too seems to be faulty and it just blew a fuse, I am a little stummped I did some research but could not find much information, either these part I had are faulty or there is another problem perhaps with the power supply.
I ordered some more parts and I hope they will last but only time will tell all I can say is if the next heat cartrige craps out quick I will need to take a step back and really figure out what is going on here.
So looks like I am back to 2 printers at least my new one is back and running it is a very nice machine it has great print quality and it's very fast, right above is a gif of it and my big printer working, they are both printing at about 50% of their maximum speed but as you can see the new printer is crazy fast and like I said they can go a lot faster and this new one can go a lot faster without loosing print quality.
I just hope this one is gonna last and not give me too many problems I will be thinking twice before trying any specialty filament in it, printing with the 20% copper filament is how I runined it's nozzle in the first place, there was non avaible with fast shipping but for 20 bucks I got 4 from China it took them a while to get here but it was a quick fix and now we back in action and I have 3 more nozzles they do eventualy wear out or get clogged beyond repair but usualy it's fairly easy to unclog 3d printers, I just suspect the copper filament was very old perhaphs it absorbed too much moisture and that made it more likely to clog the nozzles on my printers it almost seemed like the plastic and copper separated inside the nozzle.
