After such a long time of being absent from this beautiful community, today I want to share with you my post in the weekly contest answering two important questions. At the same time I extend the kind invitation to @zorajaime, @mariamor785, @yris89. With nothing more to add, it will be a pleasure to share the answers.
1️⃣ ¿Hay alguna persona o momento especial al que quieras dar las gracias por hacer de 2023 un gran año? ¿O simplemente podrías dejarnos unas palabras de agradecimiento por este año que dejamos atrás?
El 2023, en primer lugar quiero darle las gracias a Dios, por permitirme estar sana y dejar que mis planes de vida se desarrollaran a plenitud, a pesar de algunos contratiempos pero nada que no se pudiera solucionar. Conté con la compañía de mi hija, esposo y dos hermanas, como familia directa, porque los sobrinos están en otros países, quienes constantemente hacen videollamadas. En lo laboral, gracias a mis conocimientos de inglés pude dictar varios cursos de nivelación dirigido a estudiantes de educación básica. También agradezco el aprendizaje del día a día, incluso hasta de los errores cometidos ya que nos dejan una enseñanza.
Noviembre del 2023, se le presenta a mi esposo un infarto, lo que vino a tambalear un poco a la familia, en esos días nos abocamos a estudios, exámenes, consultas con los especialistas, pero a Dios gracias todo salió bien, ahora cumpliendo con las recomendaciones médicas. Agradezco cada situación a lo largo del 2023, porque me hizo más fuerte para enfrentar cada reto presentado.
1️⃣ Is there a person or a special moment that you want to thank for making 2023 a great year? Or could you simply leave us a few words of gratitude for this year that we leave behind?
In 2023, first of all I want to thank God for allowing me to be healthy and let my life plans develop to the fullest, despite some setbacks but nothing that could not be solved. I had the company of my daughter, husband and two sisters, as direct family, because the nephews are in other countries, who constantly make video calls. In terms of work, thanks to my knowledge of English, I was able to teach several remedial courses for elementary school students. I am also grateful for learning from day to day, even from the mistakes made, because they teach us something.
November 2023, my husband had a heart attack, which shook the family a little bit. During those days we were involved in studies, exams, consultations with specialists, but thank God everything went well, now complying with the medical recommendations. I am grateful for every situation throughout 2023, because it made me stronger to face every challenge.
2️⃣ Comparte con nosotros qué habilidades tienes y quieres poner en práctica este nuevo año. ¿Quizá tienes algún proyecto en mente?
Una de mis habilidades tiene que ver con las manualidades, aunque también me inclino por la cocina y por su puesto por la enseñanza del inglés para jóvenes de educación básica, no descarto montar mi propio negocio de helados ya que eso me llama mucho la atención. Espero que la oportunidad salga para lograr una entrada extra para mejorar la calidad de vida.
2️⃣ Share with us what skills do you have and want to put into practice this new year. Maybe you have a venture in mind?
One of my skills has to do with handicrafts, although I am also inclined to cooking and of course teaching English to young people in elementary education, I do not rule out setting up my own ice cream business since that really catches my attention. I hope that the opportunity comes up to get an extra income to improve my quality of life.
