RE: It was not enough to follow the signs

Wow, what an adventure! It's amazing how such a mix of emotions can turn into a memorable experience. The photos you took are beautiful, and the scenery looks stunning. It's funny how things can take an unexpected turn even when you think you're well-prepared.

Thinking about helicopters and rescue teams coming to the rescue is pretty funny to me. It takes me back to my college days, about 15 years ago, when I was on the Cross Country team. We were running in the mountains of Ruidoso, New Mexico, and a couple of my teammates got lost. They actually had to send helicopters to find them!

Hi there @bostonadventures

I see from your username that you are fond of adventures 😉

Good that there are services like helicopter rescues as they can save lives. There is a hill here where I live, frequently visited by tourists, who many times get lost... when we see helicopters flying above it we know that it means that someone got lost or injured.

I do love adventures! It is great that we have rescue services without that outcomes would often be so much worse..
