I have never seen that kind of squash. We used to cook sardines with gulay too; most of the time, we use sayote or upo. Lucky your garden didn't dry up, my mom's vegetable garden is struggling with this heat wave going on.

        In our place this squash is really abundant, time and effort of my wife's uncle takes down on it. He really takes good care on this vegetables because he waters it everyday. Oh so sad friend for your moms garden! Thank you for visiting friend.
