Hello, Hivers and Beer lovers!
Even though it's Sunday, at least it still is on my side of the world, let me tell you this is a post for the #BeerSaturday challenge in its Week 342. I couldn't miss the invitation from my dear friend, Super Ed @tengolotodo.
Have you got a cheeky wee beer or two this week to share from Bogota @coquicoin ... ?
So here is my wee beer story of today in Bogotá.
This afternoon according to plan, since I have finished my errands for the moment, I have moved to an apartasuite in a more central area of Bogotá, Chapinero Alto. And so far the choice has been a good one. It is a quiet but central area where I can go out walking and I feel safe. There are cafes, restaurants, stores and bars. So I hope to be able to try more than one beer in the next few days.
After settling into the accommodation, I was hungry and had already seen on the internet the place I wanted to go.
A small Japanese restaurant called Inatto San. The place is compact. It has a few tables and a bar in front of the kitchen. That's where I sat.
I asked about the beers they had, and they had a craft beer on the menu called Tres Guerreros. They had it in three presentations, blonde, red, and black. I ordered the red, an American Brown Pale.
This is what I found on the website of the brand Tres Guerreros about this American Brown Pale beer.
Amber beer, with an imposing sweet caramel finish, good body, smooth bitterness, and toasted grain notes.
It is a full-bodied beer, a little sweet. I liked it. I'm sure my husband would have loved it.
I went with the idea of having lunch, and I chose a chicken Ramen that was delicious and hearty.
Sitting at the bar, I saw how they were cooking the food. More than one of the dishes made me salivate, and although I would not have changed my choice of Ramen today, I will likely return in the next days to try the sushi.
So my first cheeky wee beer experience of this trip was a great success. Cheers, Super Ed! 🍻
This is #BeerSaturday week and I would like to invite my friend @duvinca to write a post in any language about beer with at least 3 pictures.
