Greetings Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Steemlandia and surrounding communities!
We have made it to 2024, and now we have made it to the first Caturday of 2024... I hope your day has been filled with feline friends!
"Winter is coming!" or so the Hoomans are fond of saying at this time of the year. I think it has something to do with a private joke, because it has actually been quite sunny and warm this winter, compared to past years.
And I'm quite happy about it, because there are few things better than winter sunpuddles for napping!
Birdwatching
One of my ambitions for this year is to compile a list/calendar of all the various "cat days/holidays" around the world... because the more occasions for celebrating cats, the better!
Meanwhile, the Dad-Hooman has finished compiling all his "end of year numbers" (whatever THAT means) so now there is more and better time for cat blogging!
Smudge thinks we should publish the blog more often!
We had good intentions of publishing a "goals and ambitions" post for 2024, but decided against it... at least beyond what we covered in the New Year's post.
After all, this is all supposed to be fun, not a bunch of work!
Speaking of work, the Hoomans have started taking away all the Christmas decorations for another year. Too bad I didn't really get to play much with all those shiny baubles!
And so, I guess we go back to keeping a cautious eye on the Cryptosphere, and hoping that maybe 2024 will be a better year for all of us!
As for new things to get involved in, perhaps we'll start dabbling a bit in the new @holozing game... because why not?
Already have a small stake in Splinterlands and Genesis League... why not add another?

Cat Snaps by @manorvillemike is a place to post pictures of your cats when you don't have a whole lot to say beyond just sharing your cute photos!
Caturday by @saboin is a community where we get to celebrate posts relating to Saturday — aka "Caturday" — our own special day!
Cat Photos by @andrarchy is a "mixed use" cat content community; posts can be just photos or longer, as long as the subject is CATS!
Cats by @captainklaus (and Sissi!) is another "general" cat content community.
There are a number of other feline communities listed on Hive, but I am not sharing them for now as they have not had any activity (by their Admins OR users) since the Steem/Hive fork. Updates as they become available!
