Hello friends, happy afternoon everyone! I hope you're all doing great. Now that the holidays and all the feasting are over, it's time to get back to our healthy habits. One thing that often happens to me is that I get very bloated. Besides exercising and returning to healthy eating, I like to drink green juices and a broth that's wonderful for helping with bloating and water retention. I like to make it with chicken feet since they're great for collagen, but I didn't have any at home, so I used some pieces of chicken just to give it a little more flavor. It's very easy to prepare and uses ingredients that we usually have at home.

In a pot we put half a liter of water and the pieces of chicken (in this case I use them to give it flavor) if you have chicken feet at home it is much better, they have greater benefits and properties, then we add the clove of garlic and the previously peeled ginger, we add a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.

We peel and clean the carrot, cut it into pieces and add it to the pot, add half a teaspoon of turmeric and a little black pepper which is what will activate the properties of the turmeric, bring it to a boil for 40 minutes, and add a pinch of salt.

After some time, we put everything in the blender (except the chicken), process it, and then strain it. We'll have a super light broth that will help with digestion and inflammation. I like to drink it before lunch, but you can drink it whenever you like. Of course, remember to drink plenty of water, eat regular meals, and exercise.

After the celebrations, it is completely natural to feel that urge to return to our healthy habits. This moment of reflection gives us the opportunity to consider how we take care of ourselves, not only in terms of food, but also in how we nourish our mind and spirit.

The inflammation that many of us experience after feasting is a reminder that our bodies also need attention and respect. Resuming exercise and choosing foods that benefit us becomes a priority not only for our physical health, but also for our emotional well-being.

I love the idea of making a broth that, in addition to being comforting, helps with inflammation and fluid retention. Using chicken feet, rich in collagen, is an excellent option, but I find it equally valuable to improvise with what we have on hand. That flexibility in the kitchen is a reflection of our lives: sometimes, the simplest things can be the most powerful.

By taking care of ourselves, we are creating a cycle of well-being that propels us forward, reminding us that every little effort counts.
