Creencias entre el soltar para recibir [ESP-ENG]

Diciembre va corriendo y nosotros siguiéndole el trote. Para muchos hoy es un día especial dentro de las festividades decembrinas, pues es el día del Espíritu de la Navidad, una fecha que aunque no entra en nuestras tradiciones venezolanas, paso a paso ha ido encontrando su espacio en nuestros hogares.

En lo personal, no fue sino hasta el año pasado que me incorporé a esta celebración que una de mis hermanas tiene años celebrando, la razón de esta resistencia era precisamente el hecho de no pertenecer a nuestra cultura y que ya navidad y año nuevo me eran suficiente para conectar con mi espíritu navideño.

Sin embargo, debo reconocer que el ritual seguido en mi familia, me gustó. Escribimos los doce deseos para nuestro próximo año que abarcan desde lo más universal a lo personal pasando por salud y abundancia; realizamos lecturas enfocadas en lo espiritual, se quemaron los deseos del año anterior, se agradeció por todo lo concedido, brindamos por un nuevo año lleno de buenos propósitos, realizamos el compartir de los alimentos que cada uno aportó para la celebración y entre una conversación animada esperamos que las velas se consumieran para cerrar.

¿Qué fue lo que me gustó? La conexión espiritual que sentí, el estado de agradecimiento que me embargó y el hermoso compartir con la familia y algunos amigos que se unen al momento. Todo ello, en su conjunto, me parece suficiente para repetir la experiencia, así que hoy, con nuestra mejor disposición, nos abocaremos a esta celebración que será más íntima, ya que mi hermana, la organizadora, aún se está recuperando de salud.

Hay otro momento que deseo resaltar en este post, relacionado con este mundo, si se quiere esotérico, de la numerología. Entre tanta información que nos llega a diario tengo días recibiendo del grupo de yoga mensajes sobre la importancia de este año 2025, que corresponde al año 9 (2+0+2+5=9) y que lo define como un año de cierre de un ciclo que se inició en el 2017 (año 1).

Siendo un año de cierre lo convierte en una oportunidad especial para soltar lo que ya no resuena con nosotros: ideas, relaciones, conductas, objetos y todo aquello que sentimos que no nos permite avanzar, pero con una visión clara de soltar para dar espacio a lo nuevo que nos traerá el 2026 [(2+0+2+6=10) (1+0=1)], que es el año 1, año de inicio de un nuevo ciclo lleno de oportunidades.

Me parece que hoy, con su significado y el sentir de estos los últimos días del año, son oportunos para realizar este trabajo de soltar para luego abrir los brazos bien extendidos, con la mejor disposición para recibir y abrazar todo lo que nos llegue.

Teniendo presente que somos cocreadores, con Dios, el universo o la vida, pongamos pensamiento, emoción y acción en aquello que deseamos, estoy convencida que esta fuerza de creencias, fe y esperanzas, son puertas que abrimos para recibir con lo que conectamos.

December is flying by, and we are keeping pace. For many, today is a special day within the December festivities, as it is the day of the Spirit of Christmas, a date that, although not part of our Venezuelan traditions, has gradually found its place in our homes.

Personally, it wasn't until last year that I joined in this celebration that one of my sisters has been celebrating for years. The reason for my resistance was precisely the fact that it doesn't belong to our culture and that Christmas and New Year's were enough for me to connect with my Christmas spirit.

However, I must admit that I liked the ritual followed in my family. We wrote down twelve wishes for the coming year, ranging from the most universal to the most personal, including health and abundance. we read spiritual passages, burned the wishes from the previous year, gave thanks for everything we had been given, toasted to a new year full of good intentions, shared the food that each of us had brought for the celebration, and, amid lively conversation, waited for the candles to burn out to close the ceremony.

What did I like? The spiritual connection I felt, the state of gratitude that overwhelmed me, and the beautiful sharing with family and some friends who joined in the moment. All of this, taken together, seems enough to me to repeat the experience, so today, with our best disposition, we will devote ourselves to this celebration, which will be more intimate, since my sister, the organizer, is still recovering her health.

There is another moment I would like to highlight in this post, related to the esoteric world of numerology. Amongst all the information that reaches us daily, I have been receiving messages from the yoga group about the importance of this year, 2025, which corresponds to the year 9 (2+0+2+5=9) and which defines it as a year of closure of a cycle that began in 2017 (year 1).

Being a year of closure makes it a special opportunity to let go of what no longer resonates with us: ideas, relationships, behaviors, objects, and everything that we feel is holding us back, but with a clear vision of letting go to make room for the new that 2026 will bring [ (2+0+2+6=10) (1+0=1)], which is year 1, the year that marks the beginning of a new cycle full of opportunities.

It seems to me that today, with its meaning and the feeling of these last days of the year, is the right time to do this work of letting go and then opening our arms wide, with the best disposition to receive and embrace everything that comes our way.

Keeping in mind that we are co-creators, with God, the universe, or life, let us put thought, emotion, and action into what we desire. I am convinced that this force of beliefs, faith, and hopes are doors that we open to receive what we connect with.
