Hello everyone, today I was making an easy and simple recipe as it is a picadillo Cuban style as we call it in my town but very tasty giving it the touch of the Caribbean food of the island and our culture. I will be sharing with you some of the ingredients I used:
- 400g ground beef (chicken)
- 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- ½ cup dry wine or beef broth (optional)
- ½ cup stuffed green olives (with bell bell pepper, if you like)
- 2 tablespoons capers (optional)
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 bay leaf
- Salt and pepper to taste
