Hello culinary lovers wherever you are, today I thought about making a snack that I like and is currently popular in my area, namely cilok. I like this snack and so does my best friend, so I plan to visit my childhood friend's house this evening, so I decided to make it and share it with her. She really likes this food, why not, usually every time we go out for a walk she always stops by to buy this snack, namely cilok. Hopefully she is happy when I bring her her favorite snack. Oh yeah, I also don't forget to share with you but only the recipe, friends 🤭, you can try making it if you like.
This cilok snack is similar to the cireng snack that I made before, namely both using basic ingredients of aci or tapioca flour which has a chewy texture, as a result, these snacks are almost the same, only the spices and shapes are slightly different. The name cilok is taken from the abbreviation aci dicolok, namely when we eat this snack, it is dicolok/taken using a stick/skewer. Okay, let's see the ingredients and steps for making it below.
Ingredient Needed:
- 20 tablespoons Tapioca flour
- 10 tablespoons wheat flour
- 3 cloves garlic (mashed)
- 1/2 teaspoon mushroom stock
- 1/2 teaspoon chicken flavoring
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder

- A pinch of salt
- 1 liter of water

Fourth: heat water to boil. Add a little cooking oil to the boiling water so that the cilok balls do not stick together. Wait until it boils. Put some small cilok balls into the boiling water. Boil until the cooked cilok floats. Remove and drain. Add a little cooking oil so that it does not stick. Do this until the dough runs out. Set aside
