Hello vegan love friends. If yesterday I made a cake that must be there and is very typical in the fasting month, today I am back again to give a recipe, and I took the initiative to make sweet cookies, I hope you will like it.
This cake is perfect for Eid, maybe it's too soon to talk about Eid cake recipes right now. Hehe or you can also make it for other big days such as Christmas, Valentine's Day and so on. This cake is very beautiful to fill your cookie jar. Not only the appearance but the taste is definitely delicious too. Why not the ingredients that I will process are dates with a combination of delicious chocolate. Surely you can imagine it, right?
Talking about dates, you must be familiar with them, right? Dates, we call them Arab fruit. Dates come from Arabia but this fruit has spread throughout the world. It is very easy to find. There are various types of dates including Ajwa dates, sukkari dates, medjool dates, khalas dates, safawi dates and many more. The type of dates that I want to process are sukkari dates. This type of date is classified as a wet date. I often buy sukkari dates, especially for affordable prices but the quality is satisfying, the texture is soft, tender, the skin is lighter and younger and the taste is sweet and legit to be eaten directly or to be processed into food and drinks. Basically, sukkari dates are always my favorite.
Dates have good health benefits, including meeting nutritional intake because they contain various vitamins and minerals and others. Maybe if you want, you can search the internet about the benefits of dates for health.
Did you know, I have processed dates several times, such as mixed in porridge kolak, date jam, but this is the first time I have made a dry cake version of a date cake with almond filling. Let's just see the ingredients and how to make it below.

- 20 kurma fruit
- 20 almonds

First: split and remove the date seeds, replace the date seeds with almonds into the dates one by one and close the dates again. Do the same until all are finished.
Suggestion: for the filling, it can be replaced with other ingredients such as roasted peanuts, or peanut butter with walnuts, or cheese and so on.

Second: melt the chocolate using medium heat. Put and coat the dates into the melted chocolate. After that, transfer to a container. Give toppings according to taste, basically for the topping decoration according to each person's creativity. I gave a topping of crushed almonds. Wait until the cake dries. You can also put it in the refrigerator so that the chocolate hardens faster. Give a cake base to make it more attractive. move to a serving plate, or put it in your jar and arrange it to make it look neater.
Here it is, the almond filled date cake is finished.. Time to serve it to my son..
very simple, isn't it. Oh yeah, I didn't have time to put it in the jar because it was eaten by my son and his mother. Haha. I will definitely stock this cake for Eid because it's really delicious.
At first, my son didn't really like dates, but when I transformed it, I mean made it into this cake, he liked it and kept wanting to eat it, maybe because of the chocolate on the outside. That's all for today..
Hopefully you like my cooking recipe
See you in the next post, hivers friends
