People May Not Understand The Plans God Has For Your Life

I was talking to a friend last night and I was kind of venting about how I was feeling kind of lonely in this season of my life. And how the people that I thought were going to be with me for longer only ended up being with me for a season.

Do you know what my friend said to me?

He said, he notice how the people that were with Joseph when he had the dream were not there when the vision was actually coming to fruition. Joseph's environment and the people that surrounded him in a season where God birthed the dream in him were not the same people that were around when he was elevated.

And it just got me to thinking that sometimes what we expect our life to look like and who we expect to be around us when things come into fruition in our lives is not necessarily how God's planning it for it to go. But it does not mean that we're going to be alone when we get there.

Joseph's friendships and connections were completely different when he came to the new place. All the people that mocked you, they didn't believe in you, they didn't believe the vision that God was showing you. It wasn't for them to see it. It was for you to see it. And the support that God brings you a lot of times is not the people that you expected to come from or where you wanted to come from all along.

I'm learning I have to put more faith in God's plan and the faith I want people to have. Because at the end of the day, he's going to send you who you need to get to where you need to be. I'm going to keep looking into that, but something about that just clocked me.
