Hello Asean Hive Community
I read @gabe.radke post about hotdog yesterday, and I thought about getting a hotdog for a post again.

I kept my words here, I came to my frequent visit hotdog stall. I have posted about this hotdog before but I forget where I posted it, in this Asean Hive Community or during the @freecompliments Taco Tuesdays era.
There are a couple reason why I am not a hotdog fan. First, I prefer having a burger than a hotdog. I like sausage more than a beef patty, however if those are inside a bread... I feel like beef patty mix better than a sausage.
Second is the price. There is not expensive hotdog. We have many expensive burgers here, but they come with a lot higher quality such as using beef wagyu cut instead of patty. But no expensive hotdog I have seen before. However on the other side, there isn't any cheap hotdog too, and we have plenty of cheap burgers around.

Here is the example, my hotdog for today. I ordered it with some coffee and they costed me 32.500 rupiah or around 1.94 USD. let say 2 USD here, I can get a burger with fries and coffee from McDonalds.
and those are not exquisite package anyway... It is just plainly ready to go package.

Here was what they gave me. A hotdog in a plastic wrap and a coffee in a pet bottle. They even did not give any paper bag, maybe it could hurt their margin lol.
A McDonalds would give their package in a more proper package, using a paper bag. Not saying it is better or not, but I use McDonalds here as a comparison between hotdog and burger... Hotdog is never been sold cheaply, although this stall might be the cheapest around here.

But I need to give a credit too, not everything is bad. Their coffee was great, usually a bottled coffee like this tastes too sweet, but this one tastes on spot, not too sweet and not too milky. It exceeded my expectation.

The final part for this post, it was the hotdog. @gabe.radke said that he wanted only mustard on his hotdog, I prefer to have a mix of condiments in my hotdog. I am not a fan of mustard, but without a bit of mustard, it tastes weird as if something was missing.
Most people in Indonesia love to have their hotdog full of mayonaise, chili sauce and some mustard. Somehow I do not like overflowed condiments, I like a mix of all but not as plenty as others. I guess Vietnamese and Indonesian have similarity in abusing the use of condiments.
ok that's all, see you later.

Thank you for coming and reading my post. I live in Jakarta, Ex-Capital City of Indonesia. I used to live by making money online, that's why I like being here, on HIVE, and in #PIMP - (Paper In My Pocket) community. Feel Free to leave any comment below
