I am alive and well, and so is my new little companion.
Currently I'm in Aguada, Puerto Rico spending time with Dad. It's been pretty lay back, just taking one day at a time. Visiting family, trying new foods, and getting use to the heat. DoorDash doesn't seem to work in Puerto Rico, so I get to sit back and enjoy my time here.
I've experimenting with the different fruits growing in our back yard. Even made a dish from the bread fruit, and of course wrote about it on hive. I think I did a good job.

I tend to struggle making time for leisure in it's true sense. Taking time to reflect, and enjoy myself. That's why I'm grateful for my dad for giving me this opportunity. I've even made a little friend to keep me company.
He wasn't in the greatest of conditions when we found him, and he's still pretty much a baby. Yet seems to be recovering quickly. He looks a lot better now then he did yesterday. He has more energy, and his eye looks much better. Here's that story if you don't believe me.

So here I am alive and well, and allowing myself to slow done for a few weeks. Though in this step back I've been able to rediscover my writing and reconnecting with the different communities. Like the #wearealivetribe. I'm glad to see them #aliveandthriving.
