I wrote this article for those of you who are just beginners and if you already know and are learning about trading, you can skip my article this time.
I'm still a beginner in the realm of trading and I want to see how much I understand this world. There are several things I wrote this time that I can share with you. Let's go straight to the topic of my discussion this time.
Firstly, I want to talk about what TECHNICAL RESEARCH is. So what is technical research?
The first research is doing or reading something deeper and more complex. while analysis is a part of research. So this technical research has 5 analyzes, one of which we will learn about trend analysis.
what is a trend in trading?
A trend is a price movement up and down over a certain period of time that has a trend pattern and can be observed. If you are still confused, a simple explanation is like 3 consecutive days of rain, rainy Monday - rainy Tuesday - rainy Wednesday. and on Thursday I can say there will be a pretty big probability of rain today too. I can't control the market, but what I can do is anticipate how I can avoid the rain. There are quite a lot of ways like I will bring an umbrella or I will go out by car so that the rain can't wet me or you could say my wallet :).
why do I need to analyze trends
There are several benefits if we already know where the trend is going.
- know where the market is going
- determine the selected bias
- determine the entry position
- determine the exit position
- determine how long to stay in position
Firstly, if you don't know whether the market will go up or down, then you shouldn't expect to make a profit. By knowing the trend you will be able to create a bias for whether the price will rise or fall.
secondly, by knowing the first one you will be able to guess where is the right place to enter. but it's not just about coming in. Sometimes the exit position is more important than entry. For example, if you want to enter, wait for the price to be in the support area and sell closest to the resistance area. So don't just go in and don't know how to get out and make a profit there.
and finally the importance of knowing trend analysis, you can know how long you have been in a position that you participate in.
