No soy mucho de compartir mi cena o comida navideña en estás épocas, ya que no todos tienen la oportunidad de compartir en la mesa algo especial, pero este año me he animado a hacerlo y por ello tomé algunas fotitos.
Desde que migramos a Ecuador y llegó aquí mi mamá (mi papá ya estaba aquí), en casa mi esposo y yo, tomamos la decisión de recibir a la familia en casa solo los 24 de Diciembre y el 31 estar solo nosotros 5 (los niños y nosotros), ya que para fin de año cerramos puertas y ventanas desde muy temprano por las pirotecnias. Así que este 24 de Diciembre tenía como invitados a mi familia para que cenarán junto a nosostros y además de la cena compartimos algunos regalos. La Santa @sarybeth siempre nos sorprende con un detalle para cada uno y este año también fue sorprendida.

Es la primera vez que preparo un pernil sola, seguí los trucos de la Abuela de losdenam en su cuenta de Instagram y quedó demasiado bueno. También compré un vino rosado espumoso, son mis favoritos para brindar 🥂 y mi hermana trajo un ponche de crema Venezolano, el cual tiene su historia, ya que de Venezuela viajó a Perú y luego llegó a Ecuador para estar en nuestra mesa jajaja y lo que no podía faltar una cerveza para pernil. El día 24 preparé la ensalada de pollo (gallina) y también hice una tortita de chocolate con nueces súper rápida, para compartir un postre.

Mi mamá estaba haciendo hallacas para vender, como cada año, así que le compré las que iba a servir en la cena y ella fue la encargada de traerlas. Mientras que Josué fue el encargado de colocar el Pan de Jamón. Pasé desde las 7 AM hasta las 7 PM metida y parada en la cocina ese día, así que quedé súper agotada, pero muy satisfecha.

Greetings, beauties 🤗💕, I hope you're all doing well.I’m not one to usually share my Christmas dinner or meals during this season, as not everyone has the opportunity to enjoy something special at the table. However, this year I decided to do so and took a few pictures to share.
Since we migrated to Ecuador and my mom joined us here (my dad was already here), my husband and I decided to host our family at home only on December 24th and spend New Year's Eve with just the five of us (the kids and us). We close all doors and windows early on December 31st because of the fireworks. So, this past December 24th, we invited our family over for dinner, and besides sharing a meal, we also exchanged a few gifts. Santa @sarybeth always surprises us with a thoughtful gift for each of us, and this year, she was also surprised in return.
It was my first time preparing a pork leg by myself. I followed the tips from losdenam's grandma on Instagram, and it turned out amazing. I also got a sparkling rosé wine, which is my favorite for toasting 🥂, and my sister brought Venezuelan cream punch, which has its own story since it traveled from Venezuela to Peru and then to Ecuador to be on our table, haha. Of course, we couldn't forget the beer to pair with the pork. On the 24th, I prepared chicken (hen) salad and quickly made a chocolate cake with walnuts to share for dessert.
My mom was making hallacas to sell, as she does every year, so I bought the ones we served for dinner, and she was in charge of bringing them. Meanwhile, Josué was in charge of setting out the ham bread. I spent the entire day from 7 AM to 7 PM standing in the kitchen, so I was completely exhausted but very satisfied.
