Hello friends of hive, how was your day today, I hope you are having a great day so far, if so glory be to god.you are welcome to gems community, I still remain @emmanuel50 and today I want to share my experience producing red oil from palm kernel. All the work and pictures in this post were done by me during the process.

‎The first thing I did was to spread the palm kernel on the floor so it could receive fresh air and dry very well before cooking it. This stage is important because it helps prepare the palm kernel for the next process.

‎I spent time turning and spreading it well to make sure fresh air entered every part of it. I left it under the sun for about 3 days until it became properly dry and ready for the next stage of the process before cooking it.

‎After that, I poured all the palm kernel inside a big pot and started cooking it. Honestly, this part was not easy for me because the fire was not catching well. I had to continue managing the fire and turning the palm kernel so it could cook properly.

‎Even though it was stressful, I continued the cooking process patiently until it was properly cooked.

‎When I finished cooking it, I took everything to the grinding machine where the palm kernel was ground very well for me. This is also an important stage in the process of producing red oil.

‎After grinding it, I washed everything with plenty of water and removed all the unwanted particles inside it. I continued washing it carefully until it became clean and smooth.

‎When I was done washing it, I put it back inside the pot and returned it to the fire again. This time, the fire became hotter and the mixture started boiling very well.

‎As it continued boiling, the red oil started coming out slowly. Seeing the red color appear made me happy because it showed that the process was successful.

‎Finally, I removed some remaining particles and brought down the red oil. The process was stressful but the result was worth it. Red oil is very useful in my country because we use it to prepare many kinds of food and other things at home.

‎Producing red oil is not an easy task, but it is something I was happy to do by myself.
