FungiFriday - It is better with bros

Not long ago I mentioned a very messy and dense forest I went to in search of mushrooms. And as much as I tried to find the nice, edible ones I wasn't very lucky. But the place was quiet, humid and had lots of places for other mushrooms to hide and grow from.

So instead of picking some, I was shooting the pretty ones instead. Lots of the pretty ones.

And a lot of them were growing in nice big groups. The more the merrier, right?

These were probably my favourite. A few very delicate, almost see though hats snuggled to an old, rotten piece of wood covered in mosses and liches. This colour combination is always a great combo!

And then there were the grey ones...
Another big group of various sizes. They look so bouncy to me! I wish I did check if they really are like that :p

Lastly some tiny ones all tangled with grasses. I tried to clean them a bit, but I was just damaging them, so I took one photo and kept walking.

All these were shot last fall.

Wow, those photographs are marvelous. The mushrooms are so beautiful and make for stunning pictures. It’s one of the topics on my to-do list, to take photos of mushrooms. For now, I enjoy seeing great photos like the ones you post. Thank you! 🙂

Hope you find the time. They are a really great object to shoot.

That I will do 🙏

They were all look so beautiful. But I love the darker one, in the second species, it looks magical, especially when they are in clusters.

They do have very nice colour too :) But the light ones are still my fav.

Thank you!

Mushrooms have an unsettling beauty. They are neither plants nor animals, with beautiful colors and shapes. As if they were from another planet. But I hate them when they grow on my lens glass. 😬

Oh I would hate to see them on my lens too! They better stay in the woods :)

🤣🤣

All of these mushroom photographs are beautiful. Their delicate colors and shapes give the appearance of fragility. But they are strong.
Greetings @ewkaw

Thanks a lot :)

Great photos and post 👍

Thank you!

Wow! Some nice mushrooms you find in the woods. The pale ones look very delicate and juicy! Live to eat these! 🙀😂

I don't even know if they are edible.
But yes... very juicy! :D

Hello @ewkaw good morning

It's a shame you didn't find edible mushrooms, but instead you found beautiful species to photograph

I love this place you visited

I did find a few, but not as much as I was hoping to find :p

I love photographs of mushrooms when there are mosses, the contrast is always beautiful

The species of mushrooms you have found are beautiful

Excellent shots, dear friend @ewkaw

Thank you :)

You know that I search the trees and forests of my city but it is impossible to find mushrooms.

I have never had the privilege of enjoying them and taking nice pictures of them. Greetings @ewkaw and happy Monday !!! 🙏🏻😊🤗

Maybe try in a different season when it's cooler and more rain. They must be somewhere :)
