This is why I didn't felt it... ๐Ÿ˜†

So happy you're ok! ๐Ÿ™

There are a few like these per year.

๐Ÿ˜ฅ๐Ÿ™ I have never experienced an earthquake. Can't imagine the ground beneath me shaking. Again, so glad you and yours are safe!

Normally it makes more noise than affects anything.

And I am pretty sure you have been through many earthquakes, the problem is that we don't notice most of them.

But yep, when they are very intense and for long periods of time, nothing can stand.

I believe that! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

I'm familiar with tremors, but I don't know why you didn't feel it if you were there?

I was distracted by something on the computer and had headphones. So your perception capability is much lower.

But the chair beneath you probably rolled a couple of meters away from the table, didn't it? :)

LOL... that's not an earthquake... that's someone stealing your chair ๐Ÿคฃ

Things slide, but often come to the same place. Usually its like 5-10 cm if its a big jolt.

Well, yes, I should have taken that into account; the chair might have shifted a few centimeters relative to the floor, but the foundation of the house and the floor itself shifted about three meters relative to their previous position. :)
