A popular Nigerian stew

in Foodies Bee Hiveyesterday (edited)

This is called Nigerian stew, it's popular when compared to any sauce as the roadside sells deal on this more and they are patronizeed more. It's easily made fast and anybody can make it. It's the curry contest from @qurator , it's the @hivetopchef doing.

This Stew can really leave you wanting more if it's a tasty one. It goes well more with white rice, yam or pasta. In making this stew, the choice of protein differs. As what i prefer may differ from yours. It's incomplete without protein and curry, as the curry has a special aroma that attracts people.

Ingredients for this Stew

  • 500g of tomatoes
  • 2 table spoon of ducros curry
  • 1 kg of fish
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 40g of knorr seasoning cubes
  • 1 table spoon of dried blended pepper
  • 250ml of vegetable oil
  • 200g of onion

Step one
My tomatoes is a blended left over that i already have, i have enough blended dried pepper and a stocked fish. All i did was wash and chop my onion.

Second step
Put and dry my pot, add the quantity of vegetable oil needed.

The veg oil is heated

Added my salt

Onion is next to be added

At this point i have to add my tomato, so i stir till it dries up.

My curry was next, had to mix it well with the tomatoes that's already frying in the pot.

Introduced my stock water here

I stirred it and allow for few seconds

It was at this stage that i introduced my seasoning cubes

My pepper was added at this point.

Yeah!! It's time for the protein to added. Stir for two seconds and and it's ready.

Here the stew is ready, you can't imagine the aroma and taste it's giving out. That's it, you can dish with any of the mentioned foods above.
