We just found out our friend successfully opened his pizza outlet. He has been operating another one for years together with his partner and now he opens his own one. We were too busy to catch up and when we found out at his Instagram, without hesitation, straight away we went last night. We were his 2nd customers!!!🎉
Flour One Cafe!
7A, Jalan Wangsa Melawati 4, Taman Wangsa Melawati, 53300 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur
It had always been his dream to open his own one. This one is a humble start, after trials and error. I would say "no dream is too small... pursue it, slowly gradually and surely!"
No huge signboard yet, and if one just drives there, he or she may not spot the restaurant. However, following the address, you will know it is above 7-11 shop, at first floor.
They put up some small posters of pizza at the door leading to level 1.

Here is his humble shop
Said the owner.
And what we see is effort, love and dedication and the spirit of not-giving-up.

He reminded us to sit near to the centre as at the end of the shop may still have some paint smell. He did apologize but to us, no apology needed, totally understood. We saw his wife and his youngest son just came in too after settling stuff at home.
Simple menu for a start
This is the simple menu. And he said they can't start with many drinks selection first. Only iced chocolate and iced lemon tea. We ordered two ice chocolate and one ice lemon tea

Pizza!
He made his pizza flour using sourdough based, that's what we fond of. We ordered three types: trio cheese, beef pepperoni and smoky bacon with peach.
Super love their thin crust of sourdough flour and yet not dry, chewy on the inside and crispy crust at the side. The fillings were generous.
The trio cheese pizza was super loaded with cheese.

The beef pepperoni has cherry tomato, some rocket leaves and capsicum.

The smoky bacon is full of bacon, peach cubes, cherry tomatoes and some saffron.

We also ordered cheesy fries.

And the boss gave us chewy chocolate chip biscuits on the house yay!

We totally enjoyed our pizza dinner and got to catch up with our friend too, found out he really put a lot of time and dedication for his new business. All the best to him and his family.
