Do you even enjoy blogging or are you doing this for a payout???

Blogging. Reward is a bonuses for me.
How about you?

I feel many people are more interested in the price of Hive than the price of having your thoughts and experience crypto-graphically documented for posterity.

Wow, I never thought about it quite like that. I only realized it thanks to you. Blockchain turns out to be really cool. If it’s still around in a few decades, our posts will serve as historical evidence of the ideas and work we’ve created on Hive.

Been here for a long time, almost ever since steem. So I have posts that are 10 years old, and is great to know that all these posts will be saved on the blockchain.

Thank you so much for pointing out something extraordinary that I had overlooked all this time. I’m becoming even more enthusiastic about blogging on Hive.

Yes is good to write to your future self. Tell him your feelings at this time of your life.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. A while back, I wrote a letter from my future self to my present self. I wrote it in a notebook, though—it might make for a good topic for a future post.

Tell you the truth, I both. I guess.

Everyone's financial status is not the same. Some do it for the payout some for blog, some for both.

I think that people should recognize more what they build by documenting their ideas and life experience, more than a possible reward. Sounds purists but that's the way I feel it should be. People used to blog for free or even pay for it. Just to share your life with your community or whoever stumble on your personal website.
