Now, you may be wondering why I am happy out of nowhere on Thursdays but honestly, I do not even know. There's something about the day that changes my spirit. This Thursday is extra special as I have my aunt and co coming to visit for the first time in a long time after being resiliently quarantined!
I woke up, opened the windows of my room and sighed as I saw clouds in the sky. The absence of that hot sun, made the weather feel good. Had a yummy breakfast, paratha-omelette and chai and departed for groceries shopping.
I had a great watermelon, which is my favourite fruit in the afternoon. Now, I wait in the kitchen with my mom, cooking spicy food for guests. I cannot wait until they come in. Having people home is always a joy as they bring warmth, laughter and precious memories.
