Just Nature cycles, I think.
I believe it is more a matter of how far North (or South for the other hemisphere) a certain region is and the angle towards the Sun (a.k.a. the seasons) ;)

        Sure. I just marvel at the stubbornness of people to refuse to adjust the winter time so that there is more light in the usable part of the day. 🤔
