Local culture and gastronomy are essential to getting to know a place.

Talking about the last time I took a trip is super motivating for me to evoke those memories again because the most recent time I traveled was many years ago and it was to a province, a state called Zulia, in Maracaibo. The reason was love. At that time I was in a relationship with a very beautiful girl named Lady Diana. She was a candidate for Miss Venezuela many years ago and was studying modeling, a completely beautiful woman. Well, we met by chance, you could say that, through the radio amateur and, well, after starting conversations on the radio and then for a long time by telephone, I decided to go meet her and so I went to Maracaibo. The process of the trip was incredible because she lives in an area called Tia Juana and that is a place that is an oil field, so it is a quite inhospitable place, there is nothing but pure desert so to speak and it is a place that It is very hot in itself and, being in a desert place, even stronger. But when I got to the city, it was very exciting because the whole journey from here where I live to where she lives is approximately right to the door of her house, it's about 15 and a half hours from the door of my house to the door of his house. It is very exciting because I have rarely traveled on my own and alone and getting on a bus and traveling for almost 13 hours is something that is always very exciting because of the entire journey you see. They look flat, you can see a lot of the country because it's practically traveling from the middle of my country to one of the other ends of the country. It is a beautiful trip because you know and appreciate a lot throughout the entire country. I remember that we made a stop and at the stop I dedicated myself to eating cachapa, which is a typical product from here in Venezuela. I remember that when I arrived in the capital and disembarked from the bus with my suitcases and all that, I took a taxi to go to my fiancée's house. The excitement was very great because I was getting to know a place that was completely new. The houses were like those old native and colonial houses of the city, very typical of the place and very colorful, with very strong reds, yellows and greens. The city church, a complete beauty, has a particular legend where they say that the virgin appeared on a small tablet to an aborigine, to an Indian woman, and that this small tablet is preserved in the church and one can go and see it. . I had the opportunity to go and see the little board, which is a tradition and something very mystical and very native to the city. The food enjoyed in those parts is incredible. They are very greedy and the plates of food they give you are very abundant and they are excessive. That is why the people of that city have the characteristic of being very obese and very big, because they eat a lot, they eat in large quantities, and the portions they serve you of food or a hamburger or whatever you are going to eat are quite generous. With a single serving, two or even three people can easily eat. I believe that this is a trip that I would gladly take again as soon as I have the opportunity. We have not been a couple for many years, but the place is a place that I would gladly visit and would love to enjoy because it has a lot of activity and many things to do and places to eat. So I really invite you to get to know Maracaibo. It is a beautiful state of Venezuela with a lot of culture, with a wide culinary range of mandocas, pastries, and people. Their music is very pleasant, that warmth that the maracucho has because they don't have it anywhere in Venezuela and it is something that I appreciate a lot. So, above all, because of its colonial church and its colonial area of Maracaibo, this trip was charming for me and I think the most important point they have is the kindness and joy of the Maracucha people. That is what characterizes them, they are very joking and always have a humor and a joke for anything. This is my black cat "manclar", this account is to honor his dead (it happened years ago).
