Hey Actifitters,
Yesterday was pretty much the same thing again, but this time it was my own fault, as I got stubborn in trying to fix some technology issues. They weren't even urgent but once I started, I decided to stay on it until at least one of them was fixed. Anyways, we did spend some time in the yard during the afternoon.
Kaia and I watched the local wildlife being out and about in this partly sunny weather.
Kaia got bored, I think she was missing her best friend Le Chat. I was wondering where she was too.
We found her sleeping somewhere in the house, that's what she does best!
When we finally went for our long walk, it was of course dark out.
I played around with another light, since the other one died the day before. It was interesting, it's less powerful but more focused in a beam, which is visible on most the photos.
For once, Kaia stayed pretty close, but she couldn't resist climbing the mulch pile of course.
The rest of the walk was pretty typical. A short stop at the playground to catch a couple Cubiverse vaults first.
Then back into the forest for a little bit more off-leash walking for Kaia.
And finally a few more miles in the neighborhood. Not sure what these lights mean, I saw half a dozen houses with similar color. I remember years ago green lights outside were in support to wounded warriors, or something military. But these purplish, almost neon, lights, I don't know.
In the middle of all our detours, we were in the vicinity of our tree friend, so we quickly said hello.
Just a couple blocks before home, we saw this lonely small deer. Very strange to see it alone in the night like that. It didn't flee, but we didn't go too close because I didn't want to scare it.
And that was it for the day. Because of my stubbornness with these technology issues, I wasted a lot of time. Hopefully I am able to catch up over the week end.
