La pizza siempre ha sido para mí una de las comidas rápidas más deliciosas que hay y cuando se trata de prepararla en casa es de las más rápidas, sencillas y económicas, sin embargo, cuando se trata de comer fuera de casa esta no siempre es nuestra opción principal, pues, normalmente buscamos probar algo diferente pero en esta ocasión era la protagonista ya que íbamos a celebrar el Bitcoin Pizza Day y aunque en Curitiba existen muchos lugares a los cuales ir por una pizza nosotros aún no habíamos decidido a cual de todos ir, hasta que finalmente elegimos a Domino's Pizza como el lugar indicado para hacer nuestro encuentro y hoy les quiero hablar un poco de este lugar y sus pizzas.
Pizza has always been for me one of the most delicious fast foods there is and when it comes to preparing it at home it is one of the fastest, simplest and cheapest, however, when it comes to eating out this is not always our main option, well, normally we look to try something different but on this occasion it was the protagonist since we were going to celebrate Bitcoin Pizza Day and although in Curitiba there are many places to go for a pizza, we still hadn't decided which one to go to, until finally we chose Domino's Pizza as the right place to have our meeting and today I want to tell you a little about this place and its pizzas.
Para empezar ni siquiera sabíamos que había Domino's Pizza aquí en Curitiva pero investigando sobre las pizzerías en la ciudad descubrimos que si había, lo mejor de todo es que quedaba relativamente cerca y de acuerdo a publicaciones en internet vimos que tenían buenos precios, así que sin más que pensar elegimos este lugar para hacer nuestra celebración.
Dani y yo llegamos alrededor de las 7:30 PM y para nuestra sorpresa no había más que solo 2 personas, lo que por una parte era bueno porque tendríamos el lugar prácticamente solo para nosotros. Como aún faltaban personas por llegar y éramos los primeros buscamos un buen lugar con suficiente espacio para todos, eligiendo una mesa grande en una esquina y mientras llegaban los demás estuve viendo y fotografiando las instalaciones de la pizzería, las cuales me parecieron lindas, acogedoras, espaciosas y muy coloridas gracias a los diferentes adornos en sus paredes alusivos a la pizza.
To begin with, we didn't even know there was a Domino's Pizza here in Curitiba, but after researching pizza places in the city, we discovered that there was one. The best part was that it was relatively close, and according to online posts, we saw that they had good prices, so without further ado, we chose this place to celebrate.
Dani and I arrived around 7:30 PM, and to our surprise, there were only two people there, which was good because we would have the place practically to ourselves. Since there were still people to arrive and we were the first, we looked for a good spot with enough space for everyone, choosing a large table in a corner. While the others arrived, I looked around and photographed the pizzeria's premises. I thought they were nice, cozy, spacious, and very colorful thanks to the different pizza-themed decorations on the walls.
Cuentan además con un pequeño rincón en el cual podemos encontrar diferentes opciones para tomar libremente a gusto, como salsas en sobres, aceite de oliva, platos, vasos plásticos para las bebidas, servilletas individuales o un servilletero completo para la mesa.
They also have a small corner where we can find different options to enjoy freely, such as sauces in sachets, olive oil, plates, plastic cups for drinks, individual napkins, or a complete napkin ring for the table.
En cuanto llegaron los demás fuimos por el menú para elegir cada quien su pizza a su gusto, este era bastante variado, con diferentes opciones de pizzas, una infinidad de ingredientes y combinaciones, diferentes precios y además varios tamaños de pizzas para elegir.
As soon as the others arrived, we went to the menu to each choose their pizza to their liking. It was quite varied, with different pizza options, an infinite number of ingredients and combinations, different prices, and also several sizes of pizzas to choose from.
En cuanto a los tamaños de las pizzas tenían 4 para elegir, siendo el más pequeño el Brotinho (pizza personal) de 18 cm con solo 4 rebanadas, a esta le seguía la mediana de 30 cm con 8 rebanadas, luego la grande de 35 cm con 8 rebanadas y por último la más grande que es la Giga de 40 cm con 8 rebanadas. Los tamaños de las pizzas son fijos, sin embrago, su valor no porque este dependía del tipo de pizza y los ingredientes escogidos.
As for the sizes of the pizzas, they had 4 to choose from, the smallest being the Brotinho (personal pizza) of 18 cm with only 4 slices, followed by the medium of 30 cm with 8 slices, then the large of 35 cm with 8 slices and finally the largest which is the Giga of 40 cm with 8 slices. The sizes of the pizzas are fixed, however, their value is not because it depended on the type of pizza and the ingredients chosen.
Cada quien pidió su pizza a su gusto, eligiendo tanto el tamaño como los ingredientes y por nuestra parte nos decidimos por una promoción de 2 pizzas medianas por R$ 87 (unos 15.65$ aproximadamente) lo que nos pareció un muy buen precio por 2 pizzas. Elegimos cada una de sabores diferentes para compartir, Dani pidió la suya de Cheddar & Pepperoni mientras que yo pedí la mia de Corn Bacon.
Everyone ordered their pizza to their liking, choosing both the size and the toppings. For our part, we decided on a special offer of two medium pizzas for R$ 87 (approximately $15.65), which seemed like a very good price for two pizzas. We each chose different flavors to share. Dani ordered hers with Cheddar & Pepperoni, while I ordered mine with Corn Bacon.
Ambas pizzas estaban muy deliciosas, además que tenían un buen tamaño. La masa no era tan gruesa pero tampoco tan delgada, para mí tenía el grosor perfecto y eso me gustó mucho, ambas pizzas estaban muy resueltas, con una buena cantidad de ingredientes y mucho sabor.
Both pizzas were delicious and a good size. The crust wasn't too thick, but it wasn't too thin either. For me, it was the perfect thickness, and I really liked that. Both pizzas were very solid, with a good amount of toppings and lots of flavor.
Mi favorita fue sin duda la pizza de Cheddar & Pepperoni pues no solo contiene 2 de mis ingredientes favoritos sino que además estaba deliciosa y para mí fue una combinación excelente de sabores, una que nunca había probado y que realmente me encantó y disfruté mucho.
My favorite was definitely the Cheddar & Pepperoni pizza because not only did it contain two of my favorite ingredients, but it was also delicious and for me it was an excellent combination of flavors, one I had never tried before and that I really loved and enjoyed a lot.
Para mi está experiencia probando las pizzas de Domino's Pizza fue bastante positiva, ya que me gustó el lugar, me agradó mucho el ambiente y sus pizzas me parecieron muy buenas, algo costosas pero un precio que vale la pena pagar por el buen sabor y calidad que ofrecen. Esta además fue mi primera vez probando las pizzas de esta franquicia, ya que en Venezuela nunca las probé aunque siempre tuve ganas y la verdad es que no me decepcionaron ni un poco.
For me, this experience trying Domino's Pizza was quite positive. I liked the place, the atmosphere, and their pizzas seemed very good. They were a bit pricey, but worth the price for the great flavor and quality they offer. This was also my first time trying this franchise's pizzas. I'd never tried them in Venezuela, although I'd always wanted to, and the truth is, they didn't disappoint me one bit.
