My first bullion coin 😊 (ENG/PL)

Hey, I recently ordered some vintage and bullion coins. I don't have any experience with investment numismatics, but that's not a problem. I think it is a good idea to get some information about this type of collecting. For a good start I bought 8 different silver coins. I will write a post about each of them. 10 yuan 2022 (Panda)

I have read that the coin in question already has a cult following in the numismatic world. I managed to catch it at a considerable discount, thanks to which I did not overpay. The coin is lovely, was struck in fine silver and weighs 30 grams. This is strange to me and I have a question for people interested in the subject. Why does the panda weigh exactly 30 grams and not one ounce like the other numismats? I find this extremely interesting.

Obverse

On the front of the coin is the majestic Tian Tan Temple, or Temple of Heaven, which is located in almost the heart of Beijing. It has been there invariably since the early production of this coin, and the obverse also shows the year of issue.

Reverse

The reverse of this unique coin features two cute pandas carelessly playing in a snowy landscape. I presume they are sliding down some snow-covered hill. The reverse not only exudes the charm of these lovable animals, but also includes numismatic information such as weight (30g.), bullion purity (AG 999), nominal value in Yuan and the symbolic number 40, representing the 40th anniversary of the Chinese Panda commemorative coins.

Hej, Ostatnio zamówiłem kilka starych oraz bulionowych monet. Nie mam żadnego doświadczenia z numizmatami inwestycyjnymi, ale to nie problem. Uważam, że dobrym pomysłem jest zdobycie informacji o tym typie zbieractwa. Na dobry start kupiłem 8 różnych srebrnych monet. Napiszę post o każdej z nich. Wyczytałem, że omawiana moneta jest już kultowa w świecie numizmatyki. Udało mi się ją dorwać na sporej przecenie, dzięki czemu nie przepłaciłem. Moneta jest urocza, została wybita z srebra próby 999 i waży 30 gram. Jest to dla mnie dziwne i mam pytanie do ludzi zainteresowanych tematem. Dlaczego panda waży akurat 30 gram, a nie jedną uncje jak pozostałe numizmaty? Jest to dla mnie niezwykle interesujące.

Na przedniej stronie monety znajduje się majestatyczna Świątynia Tian Tan, czyli świątynia nieba, która to jest zlokalizowana w prawie samym sercu Pekinu. Widnieje tam niezmiennie od początków produkcji tej monety, na awersie również umieszczony jest rok emisji.

Rewers

Na odwrotnej stronie tej wyjątkowej monety znajdują się dwie słodkie pandy, które w beztroski sposób bawią się w śnieżnym krajobrazie. Przypuszczam, że zjeżdżają z jakieś pokrytej śniegiem górki. Rewers nie tylko emanuje urokiem tych sympatycznych zwierząt, ale także zawiera informacje o numizmacie, takie jak waga (30g.), czystość kruszcu (AG 999), nominalna wartość w Juanach oraz symboliczna liczba 40, reprezentująca 40. rocznicę emisji monet upamiętniających Chińską Pandę.

Monetka bardzo mi się podoba. Przygotowałem jedną część przeszklonej szafy właśnie na monety bulionowe i na pewno znajdzie tam swoje miejsce. Cieszę się, że odkrywam nowe numizmatyczne szlaki.
