Hello everyone, today I'm taking you to lunch at a Ox house ( Korean style BBQ) restaurant in Milan. We were there for business and some sightseeing.
After finishing our business, it was time for dinner, and as I mentioned, the weather has been cold, so I wanted something hot. I thought of having yakiniku, which I hadn't had in a long time, and there aren't many restaurants like that in the area, so we chose this one.
”Ox House” This restaurant mainly focuses on grilled beef. We didn't make a reservation, but luckily there were still seats available.
We opted for the buffet, which means you can order unlimited food for one price. After the staff explained how to order, we chose our food.
They use a QR code for Wi-Fi here. As I said, the focus is on meat; we ordered different cuts. The staff brought the three types of dipping sauces.
The grill has a bottle dispenser in the middle. The service was excellent; I really liked the service. The food didn't take long to arrive.
Before the food arrived, we ordered drinks, one for each of us. I don't remember what they were, but they were delicious and served with cold water – very refreshing.
We ordered with pickled vegetables after the staff turned on the grill. They poured oil onto the pan to prevent sticking and burning while grilling. Then they started putting the meat we ordered on the grill.
I was so excited, wondering if it would cook well or not. Besides the meat, we also ordered mushrooms and grilled taro, which are supposed to be eaten together for the best flavor.
We also ordered cooked vegetables to use as a salad to eat with the grilled meat. As the meat started to cook, we prepared to eat. Actually, you don't even need the dipping sauce, but with it, the flavor became even more intense.
I can only imagine how delicious this meal was. I loved the fatty parts of the meat; the fat made it tender and almost easy to chew. When it was slightly charred, it became even more fragrant and appetizing.
I loved it so much, I enjoyed it immensely. The staff checked on us regularly and changed the pan for us.
They were very kind. We changed the pan almost three times in total. If the pan got burnt, they would change it without waiting for it to turn black.
I love grilled food, and this meal was my favorite. I kept eating and felt great. We finished with dessert, ordering dorayaki and green tea ice cream, one or two kinds each.
It was delicious and complemented the meal perfectly. After that, we finished our lunch and went to pay at the counter. There were fortune cookies too!
