I'd love to visit this river someday!
I think I can recall hearing about that flood many years ago. Thank goodness there are no crocodiles, indeed, and it's good that the cat ran away. What about snakes?

        Snakes not a big concern here but not too far away there our rattle snakes. It's really a beautiful river and the farther north you go it looks better. Here more narrow, muddy and fast but further upstream wider, clearer and slower. Thought maybe I would have some muscle cramps today but all good so far👍
