Ingredients
🍗 2 chicken breasts
🥄 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
🥄 2 tablespoons mustard
🌿 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
🧄 1 teaspoon garlic paste
🧂 Seasoning salt to taste
🌶 1 teaspoon paprika
🧄 1 teaspoon garlic powder
🟠 1 tablespoon Sazon seasoning
🧅 1 teaspoon onion powder
🌶 Red pepper flakes (optional)
🧂 Salt & Pepper to taste
Instructions
1- Prepare the Marinade:
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the mayonnaise, mustard, chopped cilantro, garlic paste, seasoning salt, paprika, garlic powder, Sazon, onion powder, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Mix well until all the ingredients are fully integrated.
2- Marinate the Chicken:
- Place the chicken breasts in a sealable plastic bag or a shallow dish.
- Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
- Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap and let the chicken marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or up to overnight for maximum flavor infusion.
3- Preheat and Cook:
- When ready to cook, preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- If using a grill, oil the grates lightly to prevent sticking.
- For a stovetop, use a well-seasoned cast iron skillet or a non-stick pan.
4- Grill or Sear:
- Place the marinated chicken breasts on the grill or skillet.
- Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is cooked through.
- The outside should be nicely seared with a golden-brown color.
5- Rest and Serve:
- Once cooked, remove the chicken from the heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
- This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, ensuring every bite is succulent and juicy.
