Sweet Tasty Puranpoli

in Foodies Bee Hivelast year
My regards to all. Friends, after a long time, I am going to write about delicious food. Friends, every state in India has some famous food. Today I am going to tell you about the delicious food made in the state of Maharashtra. In Maharashtra, on the occasion of festivals like Holi, Ganpati, and Diwali, this delicious dish is prepared in every house and is called "Puranpoli".

It is liked by everyone, from children to adults. It is not possible for Holi festival to take place here in Maharashtra without Puranpoli. It takes some time to make it, it is an art, and the women here make it very skillfully. Today being the festival of Holi, it was being prepared in our house, so I thought of writing about it. Come on, disciples, let us see how Puranpoli is made.
Ingredients to make this:

wheat flour, 500 grams
Flour 200 grams
Chanadaal 500 grams
Some cooking oil
Cardamom powder/a little nutmeg powder
Jaggery 400 grams
Some ghee
A little salt

To make Puran Poli, first wash the gram dal thoroughly and boil it. After all the water is drained and it boils well, grind the jaggery and add it. Add cardamom powder, nutmeg powder, etc., and smash it. There is also a machine to smash it. Now your Puran is ready. Keeping it aside, you can knead the dough, mix some flour in the dough, and knead it well. Now, as shown in the picture, put the purana in a flour shell and roll it into a roti, rolling it smoothly. And put it on the pan and apply ghee to it. Your Puranpoli is ready. Now you have to make Amti for this. In Maharashtra, spicy amti of gram dal is eaten with poli. This amti is spicy and spicy. Boiled gram dal is mixed with chilli powder, cloves, myri powder, etc. and boiled in oil. If it is boiled for a long time, its taste becomes very spicy. And it is very fun to eat it with sweet puranpoli; it is drunk while eating poli. And there is a substance with it, which is called "Gulavani." It is made from jaggery, by adding only jaggery to water, it is made like tea, and only milk is added to it. And eat it by dipping puranpoli in it and taking a spicy and delicious sip of amti. Friends, it is really fun to eat this. While eating this substance, you get a sweet, spicy, and spicy taste together. Thank you.
